3-4: Blazin' Barrels Winter Buckle Series - Colorado Springs, Colorado - Penrose Equestrian Center, Indoor Heated Arena. Directions: I-25 to Exit 141 Cimarron Street / Hwy. 24 West. Turn left, west, after you get off I-25, go to the first major intersection with a light and turn left, south, on 8th Street. (This is about a 14 of a mile from I-25.) Go south on 8th Street to the 2nd light and turn right on Rio Grande Street. Penrose Equestrian Center will be on the left at the top of the hill. When you turn into the facility, bear to the left and go down the paved road toward the stalls for overnight trailer parking. - Classes offered: $1000 Novice Rider $25, $1000 Novice Horse $25, Open 4D ($500 added/day)$50, Youth 15 & Under 4D $35, Senior 50 & Over 4D $35 and Practice Runs $5. Open, Youth and Senior are all American West 4D Sanctioned for Triple Points and 1/2, 1/2, 1/2 second splits! Bob Berg buckle given to series-end winners in each Open 4D Division. Must enter 6 of 8 races to be eligible. Also giving weekend awards. Stalls and hook-ups available. Concessions. Enter at race or by phone Thursday prior from 1-2 pm.
